This appears to be a compatibility issue between ACE and this new DLC, which prevent usage of the flare launcher in ACE-dependent gameplay. The nature of a flare launcher such as this should not cause injury to the user.
Fire launcher and observe injury to player.Add M127 Flare Launcher to loadout from the launcher tab.Load CBA and ACE mods on the A3 Launcher.This self-inflicting injury only occurs when utilizing the ACE mod and is not present when only CBA is utilized. This may be due to the fact that the flare launcher is slotted as an actual launcher. When using the M127 Flare Launcher from the recently released S.O.G Prairie Fire DLC, there is a "back blast" effect that causes injury to the user.
